I had the pleasure of working with Courtney, who went above and beyond to make the best case for me against the NH Employment Security Department. The state was demanding I pay back an enormous amount of money I had collected from unemployment, stating I was wrongfully paid unemployment benefits. I didn't know anything about the law, and I was really nervous to appeal the determination they had against me, but Courtney explained everything to me in terms I could understand and worked in a truly timely manner to get all my documents in order before my hearing. Even after receiving my determination from the state and still owing half the amount, she recommended another action that could resolve the remaining balance I owed and it worked! I walked away not owing a dime to the state, and rightfully so! They really came to my aid to ensure justice was served and advocate for the working class.
